Review: Ali's Pretty Little Lies by Sara Shepard

Ali’s Pretty Little Lies is a prequel to the Pretty Little Liars series written by Sara Shepard. For Pretty Little Liars fans this book is an exciting new addition. The book starts off explaining what went wrong between the twins who seemed to have everything: looks, personality, and most importantly, love for each other. Which was the crazy one, Courtney or Allison? Sara Shepard gives us a behind the scenes look at why Courtney acted the way she did and why she took over Allison’s life, prompting revenge; terrible, life threatening revenge. All the questions I had were answered after reading this, from the motives, to the behind the scenes characters. This book draws me into that world, making me feel many emotions for the different characters. The lies that were told, the secrets that were hidden, everything is revealed in this page turning prequel.
